From agency apprentice to marketplace strategist.
My career started in 2009 — with an apprenticeship in marketing communications at a traditional advertising agency in Berlin. Print ads, posters, media planning — old school. That's where I learned what good communication is about: clarity, relevance, and the courage to leave things out.
In parallel, I completed my Bachelor in Business Administration and then my Master in Marketing Management at HWR Berlin — both with top grades. In between: stints at Daimler, Coca-Cola, Universal Music, and Rocket Internet. Not a straight career path — but one that gave me a broad foundation.
In 2016, I went freelance for the first time. Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO — for small and medium businesses that wanted to grow online. Over 20 clients total, often as the sole contact for everything digital.
"I realized early on: the companies where I could make the biggest impact were the ones on Amazon. That's where the leverage is greatest — because most people get it wrong."
In 2020, I moved to Oetker Digital. That's where I learned how corporations think about Amazon — with 7-figure budgets, Vendor and Seller accounts, and a matrix of stakeholders across the entire Oetker Group. Dr. Oetker, Coppenrath & Wiese, Henkell Freixenet, Wilton — I consulted them all and built their marketplace and eRetailer strategies.
In 2022 came the role as Senior Amazon Marketing Lead at AMZELL — a specialized Amazon ads agency in Berlin. There I led up to 12 account managers across two cities, oversaw 50+ client accounts, and developed new services like strategic workshops and Amazon DSP for corporate clients. Four years in which I saw every campaign structure, every billing model, and every client problem Amazon has to offer.
And now? Now I bring it all together — under my own roof. Addigtive isn't an agency. It's a boutique for brands that want a real partner. Someone who understands their products, knows their numbers, and thinks along — not just runs campaigns.
